SwiftXwind updated to 1.1!
The SwiftXwind app is a quick and easy way to calculate the crosswind component of a given runway. Just use the sliders or a pan swipe left/right or up/down to set the runway in use, and wind direction. Adjust the Wind Velocity slider to set the strength of the wind.
Any change in value results in a new Crosswind Component calculation displayed in text below the sliders. The graphical representation will update by orienting the runway to the proper heading and the wind arrow to the proper direction.
